What is pull-up leather?
Pull-up leather is a full grain oiled leather that has been dyed. When you pull or stretch on the leather, the color migrates and the stretched area becomes lighter.
Pull-up leather is associated with high-end leather furniture. The look of pull-up leather is distinctive because the color is affected by natural body oils, scratches, and bending. This causes the highly-desirable distressed look.
However, most scratches and discolorations can be easily "rubbed out" and re-darkened with the oil in the leather. Because of this, pull-up leather is also a top choice for "working" products such as shoes, boots, and horse saddles. Pull up leather is considered to be an indestructible style of leather.
So what type of products are made with pull-up leather?
Well, as we mentioned above, pull-up leather is known for it's distressed look as well as for being indestructable. This makes for excellent furniture, boots and shoes, premium luggage, and even horse saddles.

Walletkingdom.com is one of the few places that has created a wallet out of pull-up leather. Furniture, briefcases, shoes, and even horse saddles are typical products made of this type of leather. What we love about it is the fact that it is not a uniform color. Every wallet is unique when you receive it, and it will become unique to you as you wear your wallet in.
How to care for your BMF wallet:
If your wallet gets scratched or discolored in a way that you do not like, then just rub it out. The heat, friction, and natural oils of your hand will literally make scratches disappear and will redistribute the color a little bit. You can also use a dry cloth for this.
It is actually a good idea to condition the leather every once in a while. This will provide a small layer of protection against moisture, will smooth out scratches, and will help revitalize and maintain the color that has been dyed into the leather hide.
If your wallet gets a little wet, just wipe it off quickly and the
color should go back to normal. If you get your wallet very wet, then
you must brush it off to remove any dirt, etc so that it does not soak
in. Then just leave the wet part exposed to cool circulating air (ie
if the top is wet don't put it face down). Do not try to dry the
leather with heat. It is also a good idea to apply a very small amount
of leather conditioner to the wallet before it is completely dry. This
will prevent the leather from drying out and cracking.
